What is a slide gate:
There are 2 types of slide gates.
• V-track, where the entire gate rides on two v-track
wheels across the top of the ground on a angle iron track.
• Cantilever style slide gate: the entire gate is
held up on a rail system and never touches the ground.
This type of gate is good when installing on a road that
has a steep slope.
All our gates are built from scratch and are hand crafted.
Accurate can manufacture any design you desire. (steel,
aluminum, galvanized)
What are the benefits
of using a slide gate:
• Takes up less drive way space when fully open
and closed. • Good for circular driveways.
• Also good when there is a minimal amount of stack-up
for automobiles.
• One electric slide gate operator will operate
a larger opening than a single swing gate. This will allow
you to use one slide gate operator for operation where
a swing gate you would need two swing gate operators for
the same opening. |
